Island Grown:
Green Flags are Farm Stands!
Gabriola is home to an active community of farmers offering local, sustainable food.
Locally-grown goods can be found year-round at markets, farm stands, shops, and on some of our island’s menus. With food trucks, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, we can say with confidence: there are good eats here for everyone!
Find farm stands (green flags on the map!) and more to sustain you using the directory below.

About
From the Regional District of Nanaimo: 'The Rollo McClay Community Park was created in 1990 as part of a residential subdivision (Plan No. VIP51655). The park was operated and maintained by Gabriola Island residents until the Regional District acquired the park later in the 1990’s. The park comprises an area of 7.8 hectares (19 acres) on the north side of Gabriola Island, and is accessed from McClay Way.'
