Arts on Gabriola

Island Grown:

Green Flags are Farm Stands!

Gabriola is home to an active community of farmers offering local, sustainable food.

Locally-grown goods can be found year-round at markets, farm stands, shops, and on some of our island’s menus. With food trucks, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, we can say with confidence: there are good eats here for everyone!

Find farm stands (green flags on the map!) and more to sustain you using the directory below.

Index codes correspond with our visitor map to help you locate these unique experiences.

Additional Info

Kim Taylor is a potter living with her partner off the west coast of British Columbia on a small island filled with artists. A life-long creative, she came to pottery later in life. Her work is light and fresh and functional.

She often makes what she wants for her own home and then makes more to share. Her pottery is meant to feel comfortable in your hands and used daily.

When she’s not in her studio she can most often be found out and about with a camera.
