Farmers Markets

Farmers markets generally run from May to October. A popular local attraction steeped in the unique island vibe is the Saturday Farmers Market. Local food is also available Wednesday at the Mid-Week Market and Sunday at the Silva Bay Market.

Sandwell Sea Salt Flakes We are a local sea salt company located on Gabriola Island BC. Our winter sea salt is harvested from the cold, pristine waters of the Salish Sea. Our method of hand harvesting, slow evaporation and natural drying methods allows for a clean crisp taste. “Only the cleanest oceans make the purest salt.” Established in 2018 we are the first sea salt company on Gabriola BC.
