WORKSHOP: Introduction to Japanese Stab-Bound Books

Megan is a writer, weaver, and community convenor whose creative practice centres on handwork, ritual, and attentive making.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a simple Japanese stab-bound book using traditional techniques. You’ll learn four foundational stitch patterns and leave with practical skills, inspiration, and ideas for adapting the structure into more advanced book forms. No prior experience required, all materials provided.
