Isle of the Arts (IoTA) 2026 EVENTS: Bearing Bloodlines: Ancestral Invocations, A Welcome, Premiere Film Screening, Talk Back & Reception

Description
In this mystical, spirit-led film, Tannis Hugill and Barbara Bickel, descendants of colonial settlers, enter ritual, storytelling, embodied trance with giant ancestral puppets to face the destructive legacy of their ancestors. Enveloped by the brilliance of earth, sky, sea and forest, they journey toward healing and reconciliation. With thanks to the Gabriola Museum for supporting this event.
