A Food Security Fair designed to help gardeners get the most out of growing their own. Come learn about Gabriola Seed bank, who will be selling seedlings, hosting a seed swap and sales and a kids table with free bean growing kit. Joined by local fertilizer producers Somerset Farm (wool pellets) and Blue Heron Learning Society (bio char), Sweet Rock Farm with their locally grown seeds, New Society Publishers, PHC, Gabriola Garden Club, the Public Library seed library, FarmFolk CityFolk and Gabriola Commons. This will be a a great one stop shop for all your spring gardening needs as well as an opportunity to learn and connect with other Gabriola producers and gardeners.
