Celebrating Gabriola Pride with BROADBAND

Description
We’re so excited to announce one of our performers for Gabriola Pride, with the festival taking place on Saturday June 13th from 2-10pm: BROADBAND! Broadband is a five-piece women’s band, strongly influenced by the rhythms of R&B and the story-telling of folk, country, and blues. Sound like a mash-up? It is: they are all women who have been around the block–a few times–and appreciate the many approaches to song that are available to them. And they love it when you dance! broadband is: Margo Hennigar, Barb McIntosh, Carolyn Mandrusiak, Jacqui Parker-Snedker, and Karen Teese.
