Don Moser, Mark Huisman and Claire Frances Muir will transport you back in time. … and there will be cookies by donation! The Cast Don Moser, Scrooge is one of Don’s favorite characters to play. He played Scrooge on stage a few years ago in a production of “Christmas Carol” in Eugene, Oregon. Some other favorite roles have been Shakespeare’s Malvolio in “Twelfth Night”, King Claudius in “Hamlet”, Captain Hook in “Peter Pan” and JJ in the Gabriola Player’s spoof on Christmas movies “JJ’s Christmas Wish”. Claire Frances Muir spent many years working with theatres across Canada as a professional actress before moving to Gabriola Island with her husband Mark Huisman. She now resides full time on Gabriola Island working as a pyrographer (wood burner) with Mark for their small business, Marchlight. Mark Huisman worked as a professional actor and fight director for decades before moving to Gabriola Island with his wife in 2018. Mark and his wife, Claire Frances Muir, are the creators of the company Marchlight (www.marchlight.com) where they make hand turned vessels with wood burned drawings. Gwen Spinks, entrepreneur, dancer, artist and event organizer! Gwen has been producing events since 1996. They include: Gabriola Tango festival, Squared – the Art Show, Gabriola Women’s Dance, Dances of Love & Seduction, Mother’s Day Tea & Tarot and countless others! She’s excited to expand her repertoire to now include theatrical productions.
