About

My love of photography took hold when I was eleven. An uncle gave me his old camera and there began a journey that has yet to wane. From learning the intricacies of film and darkroom techniques, to keeping up with the latest technology, the possibilities of this seemingly magical form of expression are without end. Over the years, I've studied and worked professionally in both the visual and written arts, but photography in particular remains close to my heart. Whether it’s a mundane object that becomes magnificent in the right light, or a quest to reveal part of a subject’s story in a specific way – the art of photography often mirrors life in that it is fleeting, demanding that you be committed, present and ready.
